The original raised ranch kitchen design was outdated and not very functional. The home owner wanted an open concept kitchen for entertaining and everyday family use. As you can see in these before pictures the kitchen was very outdated.
This family really wanted the kitchen to be a place for everyone to hang out and cook, bake, and even do their homework at the large island.
The roof structure. being made of engineered roof trusses allowed us to remove both walls without adding a support beam.
The window was closed up to allow for more cabinets. Since there are 2 patio doors there was no concern for any loss of natural light.
The plumbing for the sink had to be relocated to allow for the sink in the new island. This was accomplished by removing sections of the plywood subfloor and installing new drain and water supply lines.
Customer Review from this kitchen remodeling raised ranch in Bartlett IL project
Chrissy C. in Bartlett;
Chris made me feel like my project was a high priority, which was greatly appreciated as three rooms of my house were under remodeling! He solved any little or big concerns that came up in a timely manner. The project was move in ready 4 weeks early. All workers involved were professional and courteous. Everyone involved were always on time and did their jobs well. They also took time to answer any questions or concerns I had.
Kitchen remodeling with a new raised ranch kitchen design is one of the best ways to create a functional, enjoyable home out of an outdated home.
